CONNEXION® – Advanced Support for Tendons, Ligaments, Bones & Cartilage
Formulated to support flexibility, strength, and soundness in your athletic horse.
Collagen is the most abundant protein in your horse’s body, making up to 79% of joint cartilage and playing a key role in tendons, ligaments, bones, and fascia. These structures, known collectively as connective tissues, are vital for movement and performance.
That’s where CONNEXION® comes in.
This premium nutraceutical supplement provides targeted nutritional support for these essential tissues using high-quality collagen and protein links to promote your horse’s wellbeing and performance.
Why Dietary Silicon Matters
Dietary Silicon (Si) is important for bone strength, density, and collagen health in tendons, ligaments, and cartilage. CONNEXION® uses Monomethylsilanetriol (MMST), which converts to Orthosilicic Acid (OSA) in the stomach, providing a bioavailable form of silicon that can benefit mineral metabolism, bone health, and connective tissue strength.
Scientific studies in horses and humans have shown that OSA supports bone density and overall soundness (Jurkic et al., 2013; Pritchard et al., 2020).
Feeding your horse CONNEXION® gives you the reassurance you are providing a high-quality, effective source of silicon to support your horse’s athleticism.
Superior Absorption & Patented Format
Contains Orgono® Living Silica® Acacia Gum-MMST, with 64% bioavailability, at least 10x higher than standard silicon sources.
Uses patented microencapsulation with acacia gum for stability and effectiveness in powder form.
Provides 0.3mg Si per kg body weight per day, the same level used in equine studies showing that bioavailable silicon supplementation may support the maintenance of healthy connective tissues, important for resilience during athletic activity (Nielsen et al., 1993).
Essential Amino Acids for Connective Tissue Health
Lysine, Threonine, and Methionine are essential amino acids that your horse’s body cannot produce and must receive through diet. These are also “limiting amino acids,” meaning if they’re lacking, protein synthesis and tissue repair can’t occur effectively.
Lysine: Supports calcium absorption, collagen formation, and muscle development—key for cartilage and tendon health.
Threonine: Supports protein synthesis and is converted into components used in collagen, elastin, and muscle.
Methionine: Important for muscle function, muscle mass, and tendon and ligament strength.
CONNEXION® provides these amino acids in balanced ratios aligned with the Nutrient Requirements of Horses (NRC, 2007) to support connective tissue health, muscle development, and your horse’s overall performance.
